State Road 3State Road 3 is a discontinuous route consisting of two sections. SR 3 is the third major north-south road in the state (the first two being US 27 and Indiana 1). It is in two sections because the area around Fort Wayne was decommissioned in 1972 after I-69 was completed, but it otherwise goes the entire height of the state - over 220 miles in total. SR 3 used to extend from the Michigan line to Charlestown (near Louisville, Kentucky). |
