State Road 9

Going from the Michigan line between Sturgis and Howe down to a point east of Columbus, SR 9 covers almost 200 miles. Until recently, SR 9 ended at SR 7, but has been truncated due to the SR 46 rerouting around Columbus. At one point, SR 9 actually extended as far south as Seymour traversing the route now marked US 31. Additionally, there was a SR 9W spur near SR 7. SR 9 goes through several mid-size cities including Anderson, Marion, Huntington, and Columbia City.
