State Road 64SR 64 traverses over half the width of the state from the Illinois state line near Mt. Carmel to I-64 in Georgetown (northwest of Louisville). The road is mostly two lane, but is a major route. It closely parallels I-64 so its route number causes a certain amount of confusion.The original routing of SR 64 was actually was consistent with the Indiana numbering system unlike the current route in which it is north of SR 62. It originally followed the route of the present day western section of SR 70 (click map link below to view this route). |
