SR 109 is a discontinuous route with two sections that are quite far apart:
  1. The part from US 33 in Noble County south to US 30 at Columbia City
  2. The part from I-69 in Anderson south to Knightstown on US 40.
 
Northern Section: Columbia City (US 30) < 11.8 miles > (US 33)
Southern Section: Knightstown (US 40) < 21.8 miles > Anderson (I-69)
