State Road 156SR 156 meanders with the Ohio River from Aurora to Vevay in extreme southeast Indiana. It is a scenic route with river views and high hills, and is part of the Ohio River Scenic Byway route. It connects with SR 56 on both ends. SR 156 serves as access to a casino and the bridge to Kentucky at the Markland Dam on the Ohio River.The original designation for this route was SR 58 before Indiana started having 3 digit route numbers. |
